Bintu Njie is a rising star with experience in DEI application, development (fundraising) and strategic problem-solving to help organizations, non-profit or private, reach their maximum potential. Though still young in her career, Bintu harbors extensive knowledge and experience to help clients achieve their goals and create long-term success.
Bintu is a 2015 graduate of Bradley University where she worked in their Athletics Department holding a host of positions. Bintu helped Bradley expand their local footprint by collaborating with local Peoria businesses through grassroots marketing efforts in collaboration with Learfield IMG College. Upon graduation, Bintu moved to Atlanta to pursue her Masters in Sport Administration from Georgia State University. While in school, Bintu worked at the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, an HBCU Division II athletic conference, where she collaborated with the Commissioner and 15 of the conference’s athletic directors to develop strategic initiatives on how to expand the SIAC’s nationwide footprint. Initiatives included a marketing campaign with Bevel highlighting SIAC schools, multi-year partnerships with Home Depot and Nike, and various city municipalities.
In 2017, Bintu moved to Dallas and began working in the SMU Athletics Department where she started her career in non-profit and higher ed fundraising. Bintu was instrumental in securing funding for a number of capital campaigns, spearheading several record breaking 24-hour fundraising initiatives and launching SMU Athletics’ inaugural Diversity Council. Her impact has been felt in every environment where she steps foot.
